Where the Hell are Mitch and Maxine?
Where are you now — somebody tell us the truth

Apparently, elected representatives don't actually need to represent. Maxine has been off the grid since March. Nobody's seen Mitch June. No proof of life videos or photos ... other than the AI-generated kind. Colleagues, the press ... nobody seems to give a crap. Kentucky governor asked for proof ... completely ignored.
Is this a constitutional republic when elected representees don't actually need to show up?
I think a little transparency and truth is required.
Do you?
Where the Hell are Mitch and Maxine?
[Verse 1]
Kentucky's got a silent chair,
Nobody's seen him, nobody's there.
A photo drops, a paper in hand,
Sunday's sports page — hard to understand.
Six weeks, ten weeks, still no word,
The strangest quiet I've ever heard.
[Pre-Chorus]
Is it real or is it made,
Pixels dancing in the shade?
Nobody's lying, nobody's sure,
Just a silence we can't cure.
[Chorus]
Where are you now, Mitch, where'd you go?
The lights are on but nobody knows.
Where are you now, Maxine, are you there?
California's calling — does anyone care?
We keep on voting, keep sending you in,
Then you disappear and we don't hear from you again.
Where the hell are you now?
[Verse 2]
California's got a quiet seat,
Since March she hasn't hit the street.
They say the votes still come in her name,
But who's behind them? Is it the same?
No hospital call, no press release,
Just rumors growing while questions increase.
[Pre-Chorus]
Is it dementia, is it a game,
Are we asking, or too afraid to say the name?
Nobody's talking, everyone's stuck,
Watching democracy running out of luck.
[Bridge]
Texas had one, found in a home,
Nobody noticed she was on her own.
Colorado, New Jersey, faces we don't see,
How many empty chairs make a democracy?
Seniority keeps the truth on a shelf,
Nobody wants to say it themself.
[Final Chorus]
Where are you now — somebody tell us the truth,
We're not asking for much, just a shred of proof.
Where are you now, Mitch — where are you now, Maxine?
The seats are still warm but the halls stay clean.
We keep on voting, keep sending you in,
Then you disappear and we don't hear from you again.
Where the hell — where the hell are you now?
